Two male students are sitting in armchairs talking.] [Student A speaks] “I’m so over this pandemic. A friend of mine got COVID and said it wasn’t that bad.” [Student B speaks] “Yeah, I’m sick of it too. But you still don’t want to get it. I know a guy who got really sick from it and still doesn’t feel normal after two months.” [Student A speaks] “Yeah, but I’m healthy. So, I’d be okay.” [Student B shakes head and speaks] “Dude – you can’t know that. Even if you’re healthy you can get pretty sick. And you could pass it along to someone who could get it bad. So don’t risk it.” The mindset “I’m young so I don’t care about COVID-19” helps no one. Many younger people report lingering symptoms even after they recover from COVID-19. So stay safe for yourself and for other people. Remember: Mask up. [Image of a person wearing a mask appears.] Wash up.
