[Hand writes “such as grocery shopping or using public transportation.”] How to make a mask in one minute. You will need: [Hand writes the following in 3 separate rectangular boxes.] A bandana or 18” square of cloth. 2 hair elastics or rubber bands. The ability to fold fabric. [Hand draws smiley face.] Fold the bottom of the bandana to the middle. [A cloth bandana laying out on a flat surface. A person folds the bottom edge of bandana up to the middle, then presses it flat.] Then fold the top to the middle. [Person folds the top edge of the bandana down to the middle, then presses it flat.] Turn over the folded bandana. [Person flips over the folded bandana and presses it flat.] Again, fold the top of the bandana to the middle. [Person folds the top edge of the bandana down to the middle, then presses it flat.] And again, fold the bottom to the middle. [Person folds the bottom edge of the bandana up to the middle, then presses it flat.] Turn over the bandana and slide an elastic 1/3 of the way from the end. [Person turns over bandana and shows an elastic, stretching it twice to show it is stretchy, then slips it over the left end of the bandana to 1/3 of the way from the left edge of the bandana.] Repeat with another elastic on the other side.
