Professional interests: Throughout her career Courtney has worked with people at all different life stages from childhood to senior care. Courtney found her passion for college counseling during her time as an intern at Cornell Health. Following graduate school, Courtney worked as a hospital social worker gaining a unique, first hand experience, of supporting people through the pandemic.

Being a first generation graduate, Courtney values opportunities to work with first gen and low income students as they grow into their experiences. Courtney specializes in working with Queer and Trans populations at all stages of identify formation. In addition, she values creating space for all people to feel safe in their bodies regardless of gender, weight, or size.

Courtney's approach centers on understanding somatic trauma responses, relational and queer based perspectives, Internal Family Systems approach and an overall mindfulness approach. Courtney works with each client to best understand what type of therapeutic approach may work best for them.

Before pursuing a career in social work, Courtney worked as a community organizer for rural LGBTQ populations. She has a background in political science and continues to consider the ways in which systems impact the individual.

Personal interests: Outside of work, Courtney fancies herself a Tarot reader, book lover, amateur yogi and water frolicking enthusiast. She loves all things paranormal and chocolate based. She lives with her spouse and four majestic cats.
