Community-Based Services

Available to all undergraduate, graduate, & professional students

Cornell Health offers the following services and support at numerous campus locations, as well as by Zoom, to compliment the clinical services provided at our Ceriale Center for Cornell Health building on Ho Plaza.

These services are designed to "meet students where they are" and reduce barriers to receiving care, addressing unique challenges students may encounter within their respective colleges, schools, and rigorous academic disciplines.

The recent expansion of the Well-being Coaching and Embedded Therapist programs was made possible by a generous gift from the Melissa and John V. Ceriale Family Foundation.

Well-being Coaching

Well-Being Coaches work one-on-one with students to help them identify their strengths, values, and purpose, navigate barriers, and pursue your well-being goals.

Embedded Therapist Services

Cornell's embedded therapists are Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) counselors who provide ongoing mental health support from “satellite” offices located in the academic colleges and other campus locations.

Let's Talk

Students can consult informally with a CAPS counselor during “Let’s Talk” drop-in hours – offered weekly at various campus locations and by Zoom.

CAPS Community Liaisons

Community Liaisons are CAPS staff members who work directly with student communities on campus that face additional barriers and stigma about accessing mental health care.
