The New York State Department of Health recommends that all adults (age 18 and older) be vaccinated against COVID. Vaccination is a critical tool to prevent serious illness and transmission during the peak months of respiratory illness season, which typically runs from October to May.

Getting your COVID booster at Cornell Health
Cornell Health will be offering COVID boosters for students this fall when the newest vaccine formulary is available. There is no charge for students to receive COVID vaccination at Cornell Health.

Getting your COVID booster off campus
COVID boosters are now available to New Yorkers (age 3+) at local pharmacies, without a prescription from a medical provider. Insurance coverage may vary; contact your insurance provider for details.
Please call your pharmacy of choice directly to make sure they have COVID vaccine in stock, and to schedule an appointment.
