Professional interests:

Jen is excited to design and implement learning opportunities that promote health and well-being for all of Cornell University's diverse students. She brings 20 years' expertise in curriculum and training gained at Cornell Lab of Ornithology as well as a strong belief in the healing power of nature and belonging to positively impact students' holistic well-being to her role. Jen is excited to build meaningful connections across campus, collaborate with students, and advocate for community-driven and evidence-based solutions in support of Cornell University's commitment to being a Health Promoting Campus. She currently is leading the Skorton Center for Health Initiative's Well-being in Scholarly Environments (WISE) initiative. 

Personal interests:

Jen loves to camp, kayak, and be outdoors! While she loves to travel, her favorite places in New York are her backyard, local soccer fields, and the Adirondacks. She lives in Ithaca with her middle-school-aged daughter, two chunky cats, and a very regal hamster.
