Julie Glanville

Julie grew up outside of Philadelphia, studied English and philosophy at Gettysburg College, and received her MFA in creative writing from the University of San Francisco.

After starting her career writing for small-town newspapers in Pennsylvania, Julie worked in marketing and communications for an internet start-up in San Francisco, and in communications and fund-raising for a non-profit organization fighting homelessness in the Bay Area. She held a marketing and communications role in Student and Campus Life at Cornell before joining Cornell Health as a health communications specialist in 2014.

Outside of work, Julie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking with her coonhound, Otto, reading, travelling, and taking advantage of Ithaca's rich music and performance-arts scene.
