Professional interests:
Jonathan aims to empower individuals through his extensive experience in anger management, self-esteem, life transitions, male issues, family dynamics, relationship building, and addressing loneliness. His mission has always centered on students, particularly as a Black man navigating a PWI as a low-income, first-generation student. Jonathan understands the struggle of finding community and is dedicated to guiding students toward those connections, reminding them that they are never alone. His background equips him with valuable tools for working with Black communities and men, but it's his deep commitment to supporting all communities that drives his empathy for those who feel isolated. He aspires to be a source of support — or to help others discover their own.
Personal interests:
When Jonathan is not working, he enjoys going to the movies (p.s. the Regal Unlimited pass is total worth it). He also enjoys playing his PlayStation 5, playing board games and DnD with his friends. Jonathan is also into reading comic books and talking about superheroes. He loves to get lost in a book, aiming to see more of the world. Jonathan enjoys watching sports — especially football and basketball — and is always looking for ways to improve his Fantasy teams.
