Professional interests:
Dr. Miron is passionate about supporting students in achieving their full potential while navigating competitive academic pressures. What energizes her most is creating spaces where students feel seen and valued—where cultural humility and equity shape how we deliver mental health care and promote wellness- supporting the full human experience and all dimensions of health.
Dr. Miron is particularly interested in working with students from marginalized and underrepresented communities, dismantling barriers to mental health access, and fostering resilience. She believes student wellbeing and academic success are inseparable. Equally important is supporting our clinical staff—ensuring they have the resources and organizational culture needed to mitigate vicarious trauma and sustain their vital work. Personal interests:
As a lifelong learner, Dr. Miron is always exploring new opportunities to learn and share lessons learned with others with the goal of strengthening community connections. She also strives to volunteer and participate in social justice causes. One of her favorite activities is preparing and sharing meals with friends and family, and finding any reason for a celebration that brings us closer together and fosters joy.
She enjoys gardening, and spending time in nature. She loves finding new camping-or glamping- sites with her partner Liam and Rosita, her St. Bernard mix dog. She also values time with her family, either visiting them in South Florida or joining them for family trips.
