Director, Counseling & Psychological Services
Dr. Miron brings over two decades of experience in clinical social work and non-profit leadership, with a career deeply rooted in trauma-informed care, cultural humility, and reflective supervision. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Psychosocial Services at Kids in Need of Defense (KIND), where she led strategic program growth across the U.S., Latin America, and Europe, advancing the well-being of migrant children through innovative and compassionate practices.
Her background includes extensive work in private practice, clinical supervision, and program development for diverse populations, including children, adolescents, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and immigrant families. Dr. Miron holds a Doctorate in Social Work from Simmons University, a Master of Social Work from Columbia University, and a post-graduate certificate in parent-infant mental health and trauma from Adelphi University.
