Let’s Meditate is a free, guided, mindfulness meditation series sponsored by Cornell Health, in collaboration with numerous campus partners.

  • Everyone is welcome! Let’s Meditate is open to all members of the Cornell community, including students, faculty, and staff – whether you're familiar with mediation, or just learning.
  • Participation is FREE. You are welcome to come to as many sessions as you wish.

What to expect

During each half-hour Let’s Meditate session, a trained facilitator will lead participants through meditation exercises designed to focus on the breath and quiet the mind. Participants typically sit quietly with their eyes closed throughout the session.

Self-paced online workshop (available any time)

Meditation 101: Beginning the Practice of Awareness

Created by Lex Enrico Santí, MFA, LCSW, CAPS counselor

Meditation 101 is for anyone who has ever thought, “I tried meditating once ... and immediately ended up doing more homework.” This self-paced workshop is an honest, science-informed, story-forward introduction to meditation, designed for people who are brand new to the practice—or who have tried it before and thought, “I can’t do this. My brain’s too loud.”

By the end of the course, you’ll have not just a meditation routine, but an understanding of what awareness actually is—and how it becomes the foundation for calm, presence, and self-trust.
