Care During COVID-19

It's up to all of us to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Visit covid.cornell.edu/smarter.

Routine / preventive care visits

Cornell Health follows guidance from the CDC for management of healthcare operations during COVID, which includes limiting routine and preventive care medical visits when there are high volumes of cases and quarantine/isolation activity, as can be the case at the start of the semester and when COVID clusters are identified. Therefore, wait times for routine and preventive care (e.g., immunizations, well-person care, such as pap smears, sexual health, and other non-urgent or emergent care) may be longer than usual for these visits. These longer wait times can occur even when the University is operating in the 'green zone' if the need for quarantine and isolation support is high.
